About Us
Journey Supports is a registered NDIS provider delivering Positive Behaviour Support, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology across Melbourne and Victoria. We support people with disability to live safer, more connected and more independent lives, working collaboratively with participants, families, support networks and professionals to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.
Our team has experience supporting participants across a broad range of needs, including complex behavioural, psychosocial, forensic and multi-system presentations. Whether a participant requires support to build independence, improve communication, reduce behaviours of concern or navigate complex support environments, we are committed to providing practical, person-centred and evidence-based services.
Journey Supports was established in 2025 as part of the United Healthcare Group.
The organisation was founded with a commitment to delivering high-quality allied health services that are responsive, collaborative and grounded in best practice.
Our practitioners bring experience from across the disability, mental health, justice, community and allied health sectors. We understand that no two participants are the same, which is why we focus on building strong relationships, understanding individual goals and tailoring support to each person’s circumstances.
Journey Supports works closely with participants, families, support coordinators, accommodation providers, schools, justice services, mental health services and other stakeholders to ensure support remains coordinated and effective.
How We Work
Experienced and Highly Qualified
Our practitioners are qualified, experienced and committed to ongoing professional development. We carefully match participants with practitioners whose skills and experience align with their needs and goals, ensuring participants receive support from clinicians who are well equipped to understand their circumstances.
Evidence-Based and Individualised
We draw upon current research, professional standards and contemporary practice frameworks to inform our work. Every assessment, recommendation and intervention is tailored to the individual, recognising their strengths, preferences, culture, relationships and goals.
Multidisciplinary by Design
Our Positive Behaviour Support, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology teams work collaboratively rather than independently. By sharing knowledge, aligning goals and coordinating interventions, we reduce duplication and provide participants with a more seamless and effective experience.
Safe and
Collaborative
Safety, dignity and respect sit at the centre of our practice. We work closely with everyone involved in a participant’s life to ensure supports are practical, sustainable and responsive to changing needs. We value transparency, communication and genuine partnership throughout the support journey.
The People We Work With
Journey Supports primarily supports adolescents, young people and adults, including those transitioning from childhood services into adult support systems.
We work with people who have a wide range of disabilities and support needs, including intellectual disability, autism, acquired brain injury, psychosocial disability and complex presentations involving multiple service systems. We have particular experience supporting participants where risk, restrictive practices, justice involvement or complex stakeholder environments require a coordinated and thoughtful approach.
Safety and Confidentiality
Journey Supports is committed to maintaining the privacy, dignity and wellbeing of every participant. We operate from a confidential, non-client-facing office environment and manage information in accordance with our professional, legal and ethical obligations.
We recognise that trust is central to effective support. Participants, families and stakeholders can be confident that information is handled respectfully, securely and only shared where appropriate and authorised.
At Journey Supports, we believe meaningful outcomes are achieved through strong relationships, practical supports and genuine collaboration. We are committed to walking alongside participants and the people who support them every step of the journey.
